I thought it was really nice for a 2-star hotel, along with the guy who checked me it was super friendly. Along with, it was spotless and comfy in the room. The area seemed rough, but not bad at all.

The managers work really hard to create a clean, safe and quiet place to stay. Rooms are small, but I had everything I needed, including a mini-fridge and microwave. Good Wi-Fi. This is now my first choice to stay when working in the Bay Area.

We were looking for a place to stay for the night and didn’t want to pay an outrageous amount of money. It was clean and had a microwave and refrigerator. I would stay here again.

Simple but clean accommodations. Everything I needed. Very close to a BART station. Some stray cats were waiting outside my room to greet me :)

Staff were very friendly and helpful. No meals supplied but there are a couple of close-by convenience stores with hot food, cold drinks, and breakfast supplies. The room had a fridge and microwave to make it practical to prepare simple meals. This is an older motel-style hotel but the rooms have been extensively updated. Much cheaper than in San Francisco but only a few stations away on the BART which is a short walk away, and free buses circulate around Oakland, including to the Amtrak station.
